Photographing in my client’s homes is such an honor. Over the years I have often thought of creating a studio, and although that is not completely off the table, I absolutely love the intimacy photographing in-home provides. For this session, throw in the fact that this sweet family wanted a lifestyle newborn session, what a bonus!
Some clients get nervous shooting in their home. Will it be clean enough, where will she shoot, what if I don’t have the right space?! I wish all parents could see that most homes, especially during the newborn phase are not kept to perfection. I have photographed newborns in small apartments with just one window for light, I will always find a way! I provide a Newborn Prep Guide to get you ready for your session and it addresses all the worries that most parents have leading up to their in-home newborn session. We also schedule a time for a complimentary consultation prior to your baby being born to iron out the details.
